Training together pushes us harder (22% in fact!) and keeps us accountable. With Fiit you can work out and compete with people around the world, whenever you want and wherever you are, 24/7.
How to Join a Group Class
Group classes are scheduled throughout the day, 7 days a week. Head to the 'Schedule' tab, choose a day and time that suits you, and tap to add a group class to your calendar.
The lobby for the group class will open 10 minutes before the class starts. We recommend that you join the class and connect your fitness tracker when the lobby opens to make sure you’re set up and ready to go on the leaderboard. You won't be able to join the class after it starts. Once you’re in the lobby, you’ll see the other members taking the class with you.
How to Invite Friends to a Group Class
When you book into a group class, there’ll be an option for you to invite friends.
If your friends are already Fiit members, they can join the class and you’ll see them working out alongside you on the live leaderboard. If your friends are not yet on Fiit, they’ll get 14 days free when they join via your invite.
There’s no limit to how many people you can invite or how many people can join a group class. Learn more about inviting friends.
How to Create Your Own Group Class
Creating a group class is easy:
Choose any on-demand class in the app
Pick a date and time
Share the link with friends
Go to the “Schedule” tab to see your class and friends that have booked in
Can I pause a group class?
No, you can't pause a group class — this is to keep things fair on the leaderboard.
Do we all need to wear a fitness tracker?
It’s not essential but connecting with a Fiit Tracker or other compatible fitness tracker allows you to see your stats and track progress.
In Cardio classes, you’ll see a live leaderboard so you can challenge each other and satisfy your competitive side! Simply swipe it away if you don’t want to see it. If you’re not connected to a fitness tracker, you won’t appear on the leaderboard. In Strength classes, it’s all about form. You can track your reps but you won’t see a leaderboard until after the class has finished. In Rebalance classes, there’s no leaderboard but you can still connect with a fitness tracker if you want to see your heart rate.
You can purchase a Fiit Tracker here.
How does the live leaderboard work?
You must be wearing a Fiit Tracker, Apple Watch or other compatible heart rate tracker to compete on the live leaderboard in a group class. Once the class starts, you’ll see your Fiit Points on the live leaderboard. The harder you work, the more Fiit Points you’ll earn, and the higher up the leaderboard you’ll climb.
The leaderboard is about the effort you put in, not your fitness level — so don’t worry about competing against people more active than you. Challenge friends for the top spot on the leaderboard and take on your PBs in our toughest workouts yet. Give it your all! Find out how does the leaderboard works.
