From time to time Prevayl will fix bugs or release new features, this is then sent to your sensor via a Firmware Update. To ensure you have the latest firmware version on the sensor follow these steps :
Open the Prevayl App and connect your tracker :
Tap the Sensor on screen in the app to open the settings
If you see Firmware Update - Tap to update to the latest version following the 8 steps highlighted below...
If no firmware update is showing as available then your firmware is up to date.
*Before you start, ensure that your Sensor has a minimum charge of 20% and that you remain within range of the smartphone throughout the entire update process.
The update process typically takes approximately two minutes. Please be patient and avoid interrupting the process.
During the process, the Sensor's LED light will be blue.
Once the firmware update is complete, the Sensor's LED will turn off for a few seconds as it restarts.
Follow these 8 steps to update your firmware
Launch the Prevayl App and connect your sensor
2. Tap your sensor name
3. Tap Firmware Update
4. Select Download Firmware
5. Tap Update firmware
6. Install New Firmware
7. Installing - this can take two minutes, please be patient and avoid interrupting the process.
8. Press Continue to complete the installation.
